Lent 2013 Day 31: A voice from the past

The Archon Protopsaltis of Antioch Mitri El Murr is a name that every Arab chanter must know as he is attributed to have translated and put into notation a majority of the Arabic chants of the Arabic Orthodox church. His works which he scripted were later on collected in 7 volumes by his son, also great chanter, Elias El Murr:
